It’s hard to know how to react to things sometimes. Particularly when we rely on the media to provide us with the correct information.
But how do we react when we read of christians being beheaded in Libya by IS?
My instant reaction is to pray. To pray for their families and thank God or their willingness to stand even though persecution is seemingly inevitable.
But yesterday on twitter , I read some very helpful things by Hans Kristensen. Here are some of the things he said.
“These are my brothers. Jesus will resurrect their body and will bring justice.”
“The men who were beheaded by ISIS are now hearing the words ‘Well done good and faithful servant”
“The men who were beheaded by ISIS are called victorious by Jesus – Revelation 2:17”
“They overcame by the blood of the Lamb & the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.”
“Jesus calls the men who were beheaded by ISIS not victims but victors – Rev 2:17”
May God be thanked for these men. Come Lord Jesus!
